Michael van Gerwen threw a nine-darter Sunday night in his semifinal against Luke Humphries at the World Series of Darts Finals at the AFAS Live in Amsterdam.
The thousands of Dutch fans in the room saw Van Gerwen start the second leg with a 174 score and a 180. Next, 'Mighty Mike' managed to throw a 147 finish via triple 20, triple 17 and double 18 to complete his nine darter.
With that, Van Gerwen immediately provided a first. It is the first perfect leg in World Series Finals history. For Van Gerwen, it is his 26th nine-darter, nine of which have been televised.
