Earlier this week, the World Darts Federation announced that there would be a new ranking system for 2020 with details set to be released in due course and now those details have been released.
As well as that new major tournaments have been revealed with a 'World Masters' type event with multi-board which they say will provide all member countries to compete including the winners of every
WDF sanctioned event in the calendar year.
They also announced a World Championship type event where the top men, women and youth will have the opportunity to compete to be WDF champions.
In terms of the ranking system it is detailed below but it has Gold, Silver, Bronze and Platinum categories with the Gold events worth double silver which in turn are worth double bronze.
