The first block of Premier League Darts action not only saw a terrific standard on display but also records broken in the process by Peter Wright and Jose de Sousa.
Wright was flawless on the doubles during Night One against eventual league leader, Jonny Clayton and only once before ''Snakebite' had a player won or claimed a point with 100%.
That was Simon Whitlock all the way back in 2014. While for De Sousa, it was a scoring record that was beaten.
Gary Anderson beat the 180 record back in 2011 hitting eleven 180's while during a tie which also saw Jose de Sousa hit a nine-dart finish, he matched the record in question.

In 2011, Gary Anderson hit ELEVEN 180s in a Premier League game, making it a record. Tonight, Jose De Sousa hit ELEVEN to match the record, with a NINE-DARTER to boot. The Special One doing special things. πŸ‡΅πŸ‡Ή
