To the relief of World Champion
Peter Wright, his wife Joanne was allowed to return home on Saturday. Joanne stayed in the hospital for thirteen days.
The world champion's wife underwent surgery to remove her gallbladder, but suffered complications. For a while, Jo said she feared for her life.
To assist his wife in recovery, Wright had opted out of last weekend's Players Championship Finals in Minehead. At the World Darts Championship, which begins Dec. 15, Wright will try to defend his world title.
