Sherrock and Marsh secure singles titles at WDF British Open

The titles of the singles tournaments at the WDF British Open in Bridlington went to Scott Marsh and Fallon Sherrock on Sunday night.

Marsh took the top prize in the men's event. The Englishman defeated Connor Scutt in the final 6-5, after he had already beaten Martin Atkins (4-2) and Michael Warburton (5-4).

Sherrock was the best in the ladies tournament. The 27-year-old beat Corrine Hammond 5-2 for the title. Sherrock took revenge for her defeat against Hammond earlier this weekend during the British Classic.
