Williams to face Tricole in WDF Welsh Classic final

Jim Williams will face Thibault Tricole in the final of the WDF Welsh Classic in Prestatyn. The final will be played on Sunday.

Williams reached the final after victories over Ryan Hogarth (4-2), Darren Johnson (4-0) and James Richardson (5-4). Tricole triumphed against the likes of John Burgess (4-3), Scott Marsh (4-3) and Nick Fullwell (5-3).

The women's final will be between Kirsty Hutchinson and Beau Greaves. Well-known players such as Deta Hedman, Fallon Sherrock and Anastasia Dobromyslova are absent from this tournament because the PDC Women's Series also takes place this weekend.
