Martin Adams is through to the semi-finals of the
World Seniors Darts Championship after overcoming Larry Butler and will now face off against Terry Jenkins for a spot in the final.
"I got there at the end of the day but I think Larry (Butler) let me off at certain points of the match. He can put so much pressure on you but towards the end, his pressure wasn't quite as great but that's the way it works," said Adams post match.
Before Adams, Phil Taylor was dumped out but it wasn't really a result that Adams gave any thought to.
"I didn't really give that a second thought to be honest. The fact that Phil had lost, I didn't cast it another thought."
He is also now dreaming of adding to his World title haul later today and would love to be the first.
"It would be rather special because when I've seen some of the trophies I've won. It would be great to be the first name on it."
