Jeffrey de Zwaan is already assured of a high seeding on the Players Championship Finals after ten tournaments on the Players Championship circuit. 'The Black Cobra' has already collected 21,000 pounds in prize money, last year this was good for a 23rd place in the final ranking. De Zwaan is now fourth on the Players Championship Order of Merit.
Michael van Gerwen still has the first place in his hands. The 29-year old Dutchman is leading with 43,250 pounds. Gary Anderson and Adrian Lewis are positioned between the two. Dave Chisnall and Ian White are in shared fifth place of the Players Championship Order of Merit.
Well-known names like Justin Pipe, Terry Jenkins, Vincent van der Voort; as well as Raymond van Barneveld and John Part are currently still out of the top-64.
After the 22 Players Championship tournaments, the best 64 players compete in the Players Championship Finals. This tournament will be played in Minehead from 23 to 25 November.
