The latest PDC Order of Merit spells good news for Adrian Lewis.
Two-time world champion Lewis has fallen from grace in the past 12 months. But after some encouraging performances, especially on the European Tour, Jackpot has reclaimed a spot in the world's top 16. Money earned from a number of impressive showings, including a run to the Gibraltar Darts Trophy final, brought about the Order of Merit rise. It comes just in time for the World Matchplay, meaning Lewis could meet Michael van Gerwen in round two in Blackpool.
Kim Huybrechts is the other player in the top echelons to move up. The Belgian leaps to 15th in the Order of Merit. Alan Norris, however, drops out of the top 16 as a result of Huybrechts and Lewis' rise.
