Michael van Gerwen leads with most of his success coming on the European Tour this year. As a result he is nailed on to be Number One seed in Dortmund.
Mensur Suljovic is second with £51,000; with Max Hopp is third with £40,000. Both players have of course claimed title this year.
In addition, the top five is rounded out by Peter Wright and James Wade with Wade in particular finding some of his best form again on the tour.
The top 32 qualify for Dortmund. At the moment the likes of Brendan Dolan, Alan Tabern and Darius Labanauskas hold the last few spots. This is with the likes of Jelle Klaasen; as well as Kyle Anderson and Steve Beaton all behind them.
The race to Dortmund could be interesting and could see quite a few well known players miss out on the European Championship.
