Former World Youth Champion, Arron Monk will make his return to the PDC ProTour for the first time since 2019 after winning outright on the opening day of PDC UK Q-School in Milton Keynes.
Monk came from 3-2 down to seal it 6-3 in the end with a run of four consecutive legs to deny Taylor his first crack at the PDC ProTour at least for now.

Likely though with another small run, 'The Tower' who came so close on the Development Tour in 2021 will be a Tour Card holder anyway.
It is a welcome return for the Andover thrower who saw off Stephen Burton (6-1), Mark McGeeney (6-0), Luke Smith (6-4), Cliff Prior (6-3) after initial wins over Jason Heaver and Michael Flynn (6-1 and 6-4).
He joins Jeffrey Spaaridans who won in the parallel European Q-School defeating Ronny Huybrechts in Kalkar, both will now join the PDC ProTour for the next two years.
A tournament will be played every day from Thursday 12 January to Sunday 15 January. The four daily winners will receive a Tour Card. There will also be a ranking based on points that can be grabbed by booking victories. Through that ranking, 9 more players will receive a PDC Tour Card for 2023 and 2024.
Also taking the headlines today and will be back tomorrow is Fallon Sherrock who reached the Quarter-Finals and put herself in a good points tally to start with as she chases down an elusive PDC Tour Card. She will be back tomorrow aiming to go outright.
