Danny Baggish claimed victory on Sunday night at the PDC World Championship seeing off Andy Boulton in a tight affair and he gave his thoughts on making his debut on the Alexandra Palace stage.

Baggish admitted that he was really nervous going into his first time at the showpiece event but going to the Alexandra Palace for the opening few nights helped.
"Being here for one, everyone wants to be here that's the dream come true but being able to win the first match playing for the first time is unbelievable," said Baggish to LiveDarts.
"I was sick to my stomach because you watch it all the time so being here, it helped coming the previous two nights to sink all that in."
"I was still a little nervy on stage, I thought I could control it but I couldn't until the last fourth or fifth set."
He also gave his Tour Card aspirations and admitted that Q-School will be happening for him in January and that he will not be living in the UK if he succeeds but that he already has a plan on how to balance family life with darts.
"I will be at Q-School. It was an easy decision," added the Guam native.
"I have a family, my girlfriend is with me. I'll come over and kind of stay a month or two and go back for a few weeks. It's been talked about and laid out and everything is in place so not right away but I'm not throwing that out of the picture."
