Clayton 'relieved' after surviving gutsy fightback from Henderson

Jonny Clayton is through to the third round of the 2020/21 PDC World Darts Championship after surviving a late comeback from John Henderson.
Clayton in part due to a brilliant 140 checkout to level the fourth set after previously going 2-0 up saw off Henderson.
He was relieved afterwards and admitted his initial tactic was to take the game away from 'The Highlander'.
"I was determined not to go to a decider because I know what John is capable of," said Clayton.
"He didn't start the game anywhere near his best and I didn't want to let him warm up. I'm really pleased to have managed to fight back in that fourth set and get the job done.
"John is a great guy and one hell of a darts player so I'm a relieved man."
