Jeffrey de Zwaan spoke before the PDC Summer Series about his injury saying that he could stretch his arm again and could throw normally again after surgery on his shoulder.
De Zwaan discussed this further during the event and said it was 'lovely' to return to competitive action but that he wasn't too big of a fan of the conditions.
"It was lovely to be back, it feels almost like you're in prison over here but that's the circumstances," said De Zwaan to the PDC.
"I'm still working in the Netherlands and the weekends are off. It was strange not playing darts for four months.
I've got calcification on the tendon in my shoulder and the problem was that I couldn't lift my arm very high at all. The surgery was a really good time to do and after that I feel very wonderful, there's no pain at all."
"I was really struggling. I'm glad I did the surgery. I'm really looking forward to the World Matchplay as I don't have that pain anymore."
