Edgar sums up World Championship qualification: "The emotion hits you, I was delighted"

Matthew Edgar claimed qualification for the 2020/21 PDC World Championship earlier this week at the PDPA Qualifier.

Edgar took to his YouTube channel Edgar TV afterwards not only to do a live stream but also to sum up qualifying.

"I was waking up in the middle of the night, my heart was pounding. If we look at what the event means in terms of the money I've got coming off because of the COVID situation is money coming off European Tours and events that don't exist so it put me as one of those players in the bracket of losing their Tour Card," said Edgar.

"It was a big day, it meant quite a lot. I was feeling it, all the way over I was feeling it."

"The emotion hits you, I was delighted. After the live stream, I got a headache. I then went and laid in the bath and just laid in a dark room for a bit. In my sense my body reacted in a way of crash. I think I crashed."
