Money was raised for charity in several ways during the World Darts Championship. First, the main sponsor of the World Darts Championship paid £1,000 per 180 score thrown to Prostate Cancer UK, but German Sport1 also organized a campaign.
They had a number of images of players designed in the shape of a pig. These were signed by the respective players. There were figurines of Joe Cullen, Luke Littler, Michael Smith and Gabriel Clemens, among others.
These were then auctioned for the benefit of the Munich Table (a food bank). This auction raised a total of 5,650 euros for people who do not have enough money to buy their own food.
A similar action took place last year. Then a figurine of Fallon Sherrock was auctioned. That auction then brought in 2,100 euros.
