Record weekend at European Darts Matchplay: Most 100+ averages ever thrown on Euro Tour

The European Darts Matchplay was won for the second year in a row by Luke Humphries. In the final, he defeated Dirk van Duijvenbode 8-7.
The tournament is Trier was one of really high quality. There were never more 100+ averages thrown on a single weekend of action on the European Tour.
More so, a whopping 25% of all averages this past weekend were above 100, ten of them even above 105. The highest average came from the world number one, Michael Smith, who reached 111.33 during his victory in the third round against Josh Rock.

- I completely agree with Vincent's comments on "whistlegate". It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd. No whistling during throws, and something like: whistlers evicted and fined a hefty sum.
