Robert 'the Stack Attack' Owen said he is "fit and ready" ahead of a "very busy" schedule. The 2018 UK Open semi finalist is hoping to continue his strong start to the year as he has many big events coming up in the near future. The Welsh international will be looking to perform similarly to how he has done in the Modus Online Live League in 2022.
When Robert Owen was interviewed on The Weekly Dartscast at the Champion of Champions event last month he spoke about how hectic his schedule is this year,
"Yes, very busy I'm actually going to do the WDF in September the week after the Challenge Tour, basically just trying to sneak into Lakeside as well."
Owen should be in good form for all these tournaments after beating some strong opponents when qualifying for the Champion of Champions event even when he might not have been at his best.
"I beat a couple of good players, I beat Tim Jones... I shouldn't have won that game I will be honest I played rubbish. But in the final then I beat a good Youngster Steven Inkpen."
Even though Robert Owen beat the Welsh youngster in the final he had a few words of praise and advice advice for Inkpen.
"I'm hoping he'll use his head and come up the ranks now. He was a very solid, solid player. He's one for the future."
Praise and support from an experienced player like Owen is nothing to be ignored as the Welshman talks about his achievements so far this year.
"I played Pro Tour, Challenge Tour and the MODUS Series, one of the best leagues I’ve ever played in. It's harder than Pro Tour I don't care what anyone says."
Even after such a hectic calendar Robert 'the Stack Attack' Owen believes he can perform when it matters. "I’m all fit and ready for the next chapter of the MODUS Series, Challenge Tour and Pro Tour."
