Scott Williams on what makes PDC World Darts Championship so special: "It gives you something else to look forward to over Christmas"

Scott Williams recently spoke to Tungsten Tales and like other players answered the eight Quick Fire Ally Pally questions ahead of his debut at the PDC World Darts Championship including a pick for his best match ever being his practice partner, Rob Cross.

"Watching Rob Cross beat Michael van Gerwen in the semi-finals, that was probably my favourite match of all time," said Williams to Tungsten Tales.

For 'Shaggy', he believes the Christmas element gives the World Championship its gravitas and the fact that it gives people something else to look forward to.

"The fact that it's over Christmas and it gives you something else to look forward to over Christmas. Not so much the World Championship itself, it's the feeling of the darts itself around that time of year"

He goes back to Cross for his pick for the title. "Either if he can pull his finger out and stop making the mistakes he does, Rob Cross or Gerwyn Price."
