Smith and Noppert ease through to confirm International Darts Open Quarter-Final line-up

The Quarter-Final line-up is confirmed at the International Darts Open 2020 with Michael Smith set to face Danny Noppert after the final two Last 16 ties saw both ease through.

Smith eased past Jesus Noguera 6-1 who ends his landmark maiden European Tour run and one which puts him into a provisional spot for the World Championship in the final Pro Tour Order of Merit spot ahead of Ron Meulenkamp.

For 'Bully Boy' though, he hit a 94 average and two 180's en route in an impressive display to win through to the final session.

While Noppert saw off Scott Baker in a 6-2 victory to end 'The Mod's late hopes of making it to the European Championship.

A good run of form continues for the Dutchman who hit 42% on the doubles with two 180's as he looks ahead to a great tie potentially with the St Helens ace.
