Taylor concerned about current form of Lewis: "He's got bills to pay so he must be very worried"

Adrian Lewis is a player who has not been able to recapture his form and Phil Taylor as someone who knows him well is worried about his future.

Lewis is the former protégé of Taylor but has not been able to play as well as his double World Championship win for some time.

"This year is a make or break World Championship. You've got a lot of players that are going to defending a lot of money, Gary Anderson for one, will be one. Adrian Lewis is another one. He's dropped down to 20th and if he doesn't start pulling his finger out, he won't be playing in any tournaments again," said Taylor on The Darts Show podcast.

"He's got bills to pay so he must be very, very worried and I think that's took it's toll on his performances and his Players Championships. He's not played as well as what he can. I am very worried about their careers now."
