This weekend, the top names from the PDC will do battle once more when the
Masters begins in Milton Keynes, the first TV tournament of the new season.
In the run-up to the start of the tournament, DartsNews looks back on some of the best moments in the history of this tournament.
After losing four major finals, Mervyn King finally looked to be on his way to a first major title during the 2014 Masters.
He led 9-2 against
James Wade in the final but then collapsed like a pack of cards.
Five legs later it was even 10-6, meaning 'The King' only needed one more leg.
That one leg turned out to be too much of an obstacle as he missed seven match darts to win the 2014 Masters. Wade came back to 10-10 and then claimed the final with a 135 finish.
