Turner looks back on Hedman and Ashton's displays at World Championship: "They both did themselves proud"

Laura Turner was once again involved during the PDC World Darts Championship as a pundit and commentator for Sky Sports and catching up with Tungsten Tales post tournament, she spoke about commentating with no crowd as well as her thoughts on Lisa Ashton and Deta Hedman's displays.

"It was fantastic. Got treated to some excellent darts, some wonderful stories along the way but it was quite nice to get out of the house and do something that felt a bit more normal especially considering the circumstances. It was a good experience," said Turner to Tungsten Tales.

"They both did themselves proud. Deta was probably a little bit disappointed in so much as I think she didn't get going from the off. That first leg was five or six missed leg darts, I think if she would have got that leg under her belt earlier on, that level she would have been able to keep that up."

"Lisa just what I come to expect when I see Lisa on the stage now. Again gutted for her that she hasn't got that elusive stage-based win under her belt, she's beaten so many good players on the tour including Adam Hunt. But I will say Adam Hunt has become a vastly improved player over the Grand Slam and then what we've seen of his performance at the World's, he's obviously another one to watch."
