Update given on condition of Alan Glazier after being hospitalised with Coronavirus and Heart Attack

Darting legend Alan Glazier was hospitalised last week with a heart attack and he has also been infected with Coronavirus but a positive update has been given on his condition.

Darts commentator John Gwynne who previously revealed the news took to Facebook and said he is undergoing treatment for a chest infection related to COVID-19; with hope that the World Championship semi-finalist can be home within a few days.
"Latest on Alan Glazier, who was taken into Manchester Royal Infirmary last weekend after suffering a heart attack. Having spoken to Christine, his partner, on the phone, Alan is receiving treatment for a chest infection, related to COVID-19. He is undergoing blood tests. If they are positive, Chris is hoping Alan might be allowed home within a few days," said Gwynne on Facebook.

I know that the #darts community will want to join me in wishing all the best to legendary player Alan Glazier. On suffering a heart attack, the 81-year old ‘Ton Machine’ from Rochdale was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary where he is also being treated for Covid-19. #BDO #PDC
