Dimitri van den Bergh averaged over 101 as he saw off Daryl Gurney with a return of form of sorts for the Belgian at the European Championship.
Speaking post match, he said it's his first match averaging over 1`00 while being with Target and puts recent indifferent form down to tinkering and nothing else.
"I've already been down to Viaplay and I was very curious about my average and they were like Dimi you played 101 average and I was like woah that's my first average over 100 with these darts so I'm very delighted. Positives, positives get in," said Van den Bergh to Online Darts.
"I was still battling with my own feeling, new sponsor and I said to myself straight away they have such a huge range, I have tried them in Gibraltar for instance. It didn't happen in the match and I went back to the old one, the old one was 100%. I was trying to find something that made me comfortable.
"I think since I went back to the same length of points as I was using at Unicorn that thank you Target, you're helping me out. I recognised a lot of things, I'm happy I'm through to the next round. Get in, I've done the business."
