Van Duijvenbode set to auction aubergines for charity

In addition to playing darts, Dirk Van Duijvenbode still works at an aubergine farm. The Dutchman as a result is going to auction a box of aubergines off for a good cause.

The season of the Dutch aubergines is just around the corner. Monday, February 8, the first aubergines will be harvested at Van Duijvenbode's employer Van Onselen. And there is more, van Duijvenbode will harvest and auction the first box for Make-A-Wish Nederland, an organization that makes the greatest wishes of seriously ill children come true.

Anyone can make an offer at www.vanonselenaubergines.nl/veiling . If the amount exceeds 5000 euros, Michael van Gerwen will donate an additional 1000 euros. The auction will run until Wednesday, February 10 at 3:00 PM.
