It seems to be becoming a recurring ritual. After Michael van Gerwen won over Dimitri van den Bergh on Sunday afternoon at the World Series of Darts Finals, the children of "Mighty Mike" ran onto the stage.
This also happened Saturday night after Van Gerwen's win over William O'Connor. Then only daughter Zoe was present at the AFAS Live in Amsterdam. Now she was joined by her little brother Mike, with both kids running on stage after Van Gerwen's victory to celebrate in their father's arms.
Van Gerwen already announced after his match against O'Connor that his wife Daphne and son Mike would travel to the Dutch capital on Sunday. On Sunday night, the kids can see their proud daddy at work again and they will hope, emerge successfully with the World Series of Darts Finals trophy.
'Mighty Mike' will play Luke Humphries in the semifinals on Sunday evening, with a record-extending fifth World Series of Darts Finals victory up for grabs.
