Wade hoping baby arrives early due to World Series: "Will hate the first meeting being over FaceTime"

James Wade has been spending some valuable time at home ahead of a busy period with the World Matchplay incoming and also the World Series which is around the time when his second baby with wife Sammi is due.

But Wade is hoping for an early arrival so they can meet for the first time and not on FaceTime.

"I have been missing my little boy Arthur terribly, so I gave him the opportunity to choose any activity for us to do together – hence my Monday involved dressing up as a pirate and spending most of the day in sword fighters and walking imaginary planks," he wrote on Daily Star.

"There will soon be two children to look after! We have had a few hospital appointments as we are now only a few weeks away (maximum) from the newest addition to the Wade clan. We have got the nursery all set up so are now just at the nervous anticipation stage.

"I am actually hoping that the baby arrives early as I am heading down under for the Australian Masters and will hate the first meeting being over Facetime.
