Wright not looking forward to Players Championship Finals: "I don't like Minehead, it's too far away"

Peter Wright has returned to form this past week at the 2021 Grand Slam of Darts reaching the final before losing to eventual champion, Gerwyn Price.

But with the Players Championship Finals coming up, it's not a tournament he is particularly looking forward to for one reason.

"I'm not looking forward to it. I don't like Minehead, it's too far away. It's just stupid roads all the way down when it says 30 miles and it takes you two hours," said Wright.

"The last 30 miles is just absolutely ridiculous, will the people down there get some decent roads. It's a great place for all the darts fans which is the main thing, I'll be there to upset a few people."
