Young claims victory at CDC Main Event Nine defeating Long in final

CDC action is taking place this weekend with PDC World Championship qualification in particular up for grabs and Darin Young is the latest winner.

Young saw off Jim Long in the final; who despite Matt Campbell's point tally still has the opportunity to book his place at the Alexandra Palace later today. This will only occur though; if he wins the title.

This means it is a potentially uphill battle for the World Cup participant; but one to keep an eye on. 'Big Daddy' though with his run where he saw off Long, Danny Lauby, Joe Huffman; among others has secured his place.

One of the big stories of the weekend though has been Danny Baggish; with the Guam native who claimed the North American Championship producing some stunning darts including in Event Nine when he hit a 112 average in seeing off John Part.

He fell though in the Last 16 but has been producing these big averages all weekend; can it continue today?
