15-year-old Littler on opening WDF Lakeside win: "It's an incredible feeling"

15-year-old Luke Littler is through to the third round of 2022 WDF Lakeside World Championship seeing off Ben Hazel in a thrilling clash.

Littler is the youngest ever winner in the senior tournament and is already looking forward to returning to the stage.

"It's an incredible feeling and I can't wait to get back up on the stage. I've obviously been on the Milton Keynes stage before so I've got a bit of stage experience but I think the people behind me have really helped me," said Littler to Tungsten Tales.

"I had the Isle of Man two weeks ago and that was good practice. Won the youth three times in a row, lost a Classic final to James Hurrell and did some set practice with Nathan Aspinall to get me ready because I've never really played sets."

"The most I've played is first to six but I think the breaks really help you."
