In a double announcement today, the Grand Slam alongside the Champions League of Darts will change venues but while the BBC tournament will move entirely; the Grand Slam will remain in its home of Wolverhampton.

The event has traditionally been held at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall since the tournament's introduction in 2007. The Civic has been closed for a £38 million refurbishment since last year's Grand Slam, which was won by Michael van Gerwen.
It will move to the Aldersley Leisure Village which is ideal as it is only around 15 minutes away from the Civic.
This represents an ideal solution for the PDC and the fans who attend with fears that a venue wouldn’t be found in Wolverhampton.
Tickets will be released in due course for the event which pits PDC vs the best of the BDO.
