Rob Cross continued his brilliant form this year by smashing a player that has been having a brilliant year also in Jonny Clayton. He won 6-1 and despite not being exactly vintage Rob Cross he averaged 97.93 in his win and now has the test of Auckland Darts Master Kyle Anderson who is the number 7 seed in Glasgow Kyle would of faced Cross in the final in Hasselt last week had it not been for Michael van Gerwen sneaking past 'the Original' who despite hitting a 9 darter and having the throw in the deciding leg could not win but Cross believes despite him being a top player and a great guy that if he brings his A-game in the last 16 clash he will win tonight. “Kyle is a great player but I believe if I can bring my A-game I will win the match,” said Cross. “I’ve got to tread carefully because he’s a top player and a lovely guy but things are going my way at the moment so long may it continue.”
