Beau Greaves returns to top spot on PDC Women's Series Order of Merit after excellent weekend

Beau Greaves is back on top of the PDC Women's Series Order of Merit. After a slow start to the campaign for her own high standards, Greaves was in top form this weekend, reaching at least the final of all four events.

The 20-year-old Englishwoman managed to reach the finals at all four tournaments last weekend. Twice she actually won the title and twice Greaves had to settle for second place.

Greaves is in first place after eight of the 24 Women's Series tournaments with 8,400 pounds. She took over the lead position from Fallon Sherrock, who recorded a sole run to the final as her best result of the weekend. The "Queen of the Palace" brought her total prize money to 6900 pounds, keeping Mikuru Suzuki (6300 pounds) and Noa-Lynn van Leuven (5900 pounds) still below her.

Behind that is a sizable gap to Lisa Ashton, who is fifth at 2,800 pounds. Completing the top-10 are Katie Sheldon (2200 pounds), Robyn Byrne (1900 pounds), Deta Hedman (1800 pounds), Gemma Hayter (1600 pounds) and Lorraine Winstanley (1600 pounds).

Sixteen more tournaments will be played at the Women's Series later this year. The top two players of the season get to compete in the World Darts Championship, while the number one ranked player also receives an invitation to the Grand Slam of Darts.
