Adrian Lewis recently decided to temporarily quit darts. It remains to be seen if and when the two-time former world champion will return to the professional circuit.
Lewis would normally be expected to retain his Tour Card at the end of this year. "If i was to work with Adrian Lewis personally, I would resign the Tour Card at the end of the year and start again from fresh." former Tour Card holder Matthew Edgar told Online Darts.
"Adrian Lewis isn't someone who's going to struggle at Q-school. He's going to get through it quite comfortably. He doesn't want to be defending money, he needs to look forward. The problem is, when you're a two-time World Champion you're always going to be looking back to those glory days.
"I think he needs a complete overhaul," Edgar continued. "He's the kind of player I'd love to work with because I think we could get him winning again."
