Humphries remains on course for back-to-back European Tour titles, set to face Dolan in Quarter-Finals

Luke Humphries remains on course for a third European Tour title of the season and back-to-back after winning last week in Prague as he reaches the Quarter-Finals of the European Darts Grand Prix in Stuttgart.

Humphries battled past Joe Murnan who has had a superb weekend but fell to 'Cool Hand' who has been the leading light this season alongside Michael van Gerwen on the European Tour.

This was despite an average of only 90 and a sole 180 but his scoring was better than Murnan which proved the difference in the end.

Next up is Brendan Dolan who is through to the final session of a European Tour once again after seeing off Andrew Gilding who once again had a superb weekend.

Dolan won through 6-3 against 'Goldfinger' with 54.5% on the doubles and a highest checkout of 115. 'The History Maker' always kept himself at arms length breaking in the opening leg and opening up a 3-1 gap.

Both held from there with Gilding missed a chance to prolong the tie in the final leg and Dolan pounced on double 18.
