"I always like to engage with the crowd" - Luke Littler thrives in hostile Liverpool atmosphere to take Night 13 win of Premier League Darts

Luke Littler emerged victorious on Night 13 of the 2024 Premier League Darts, despite recieving a more than hostile reception from the Liverpool crowd.

It is already the third weekly title this year for the 17-year-old Englishman. This win now puts him in a clear lead of the overall standings, five points ahead of his closest pursuer Luke Humphries.

"I’m just happy with the way I played,” reflected Littler post-match. “I wanted to come here, pick up some more points, and hopefully I’m in the Play-Offs now."

Littler is a well-known supporter of Manchester United, traditionally Liverpool's great archenemy. As such, a raudy reception was always anticipated. "I knew what to expect [with the atmosphere], but I always like to engage with the crowd, and I was just playing with complete freedom up there," Littler says. "I’m really happy to pull away from the chasing pack. There’s only three more league nights left now, so maybe I could top the table. That would be amazing.”
