Nathan Aspinall suffered a persistent wrist injury last year. But in the meantime, things are moving in the right direction again for the 31-year-old.
"I was in terrible pain for six to eight months," Aspinall told VTM. "Here and there I still experience some little problems, but it doesn't really bother me. I worked hard to get back to this level and I can practice well now. So far so good. Hopefully it keeps improving."
It is notable, though, that Aspinall often seems to hold back on an important throw, it even looked a bit like dartitis. "No, it's just to do with grip," said 'The Asp'. "I spin the dart in my hand and if it's not perfect, I'm not going to throw it. That's all it is."
