Nijman overjoyed after winning PDC Tour Card: "Especially after everything I have been through in the past few years"

Wessel Nijman finished third in the final standings of the PDC Development Tour. The 23-year-old Dutchman is thus assured of a Tour Card for the next two years.
Nijman may also compete at the upcoming PDC World Darts Championship. "There are no words to describe how satisfied I am, especially after everything I have been through in the past few years," Nijman said on Facebook.
"I cannot thank enough my family, friends and sponsors who have made all this possible. I am already looking forward to the next two years on the Pro Tour, but first I will have another blast at the World Championship at the end of this year," Nijman concluded.

- I've always thought the top 24 should be made up of major winners and runners up then Euro tour followed by PC tour winners - if you don't have 24 after that then have some qualifiers.Thomas Moffatt03-11-2024
