Noppert realistic after Gilding win: "Happy with the result, but performance wasn't great"

Danny Noppert easily qualified for the second round of the European Championship. The Freeze was 6-3 too strong for Andrew Gilding in the opening round.
"I am happy with the result, but my performance was not great," Noppert opened to TOTO Dart Kings. "In the beginning of the match I was also a bit nervous, you don't play a TV tournament every week after all and that opening round is always tricky. Towards the end it started to go better though and I was able to put down some higher scores."
Day off
Noppert will take on Vincent van der Voort in the second round on Saturday afternoon. "It's always nice to play against a teammate (both men are members of the Toto Dart Kings team). Friday I have a day off and then I will visit some things in town, after all I am not someone who likes to sit still."
