PDC Order of Merit: Dave Chisnall up to world number 7 after Players Championship triumph, Martin Lukeman makes top-32 debut

The past two Players Championship tournaments in Hildesheim have seen Dave Chisnall work his way back up the PDC Order of Merit after his win at PD6.

Chisnall moved up three places due to his title win and is now back inside the top-8, ranked number seven in the world. As a result of 'Chizzy's rise, Damon Heta has fallen back down two spots and is now ninth, while Dimitri van den Bergh closes out the top-10 after losing one position.

The man Chisnall beat in that final, Dirk van Duijvenbode also saw a rise. 'Aubergenius' is now up number twelve in the Order of Merit, an impressive standing considering the Dutchman's recent shoulder injury issues. Notably in the position of second Dutchman ahead of the World Cup of Darts.

Lower down the rankings, Brendan Dolan has swapped positions with José de Sousa, ensuring that 'The History Maker' now holds the 26th spot. Martin Lukeman makes his debut in the global top-32. That comes at the expense of Kim Huybrechts, who now sits at spot 33.
