PDC Tour Card holder Adam Smith-Neale suspended with immediate effect by DRA after punching opponent

Adam Smith-Neale has been suspended with immediate effect by the Darts Regulation Authority (DRA). As a result, the 30-year-old Englishman cannot compete in PDC tournaments for the time being.

Smith-Neale made negative headlines Monday after footage was circulated showing "The Bulldog" slapping his opponent after losing a match at a local tournament in England.

The DRA reports that Smith-Neale has the right to challenge the provisional suspension. There will be an investigation into Smith-Neale's conduct in the coming period, after which he will be invited to a hearing before the DRA.

This is not the first time Smith-Neale has been in the news negatively. He once broke his leg prior to a BDO tournament in Italy, and later appeared at the tournament on crutches. On Facebook there are also a deluge of complaints against Smith-Neale with allegations that he ripped off many fans.
