The Philippines will not participate in the World Cup of Darts in November, it has been announced with Noel Malicdem and Lourence Ilagan initially set to face England duo Michael Smith and Rob Cross in the opening round.
However in a statement released by the National Darts Federation Philippines, they stated that PDC Asia has failed to address the travel ban for players heading to Austria and no answers have been forthcoming to these questions so they have decided to pull out.
Ilagan himself posted on his Facebook page that it is the 14 day quarantine mainly that is an issue with him saying that it would disrupt their preparation.

The National Darts Federation of the Philippines have released a statement this morning, which we understand translates to their team for the PDC World Cup of Darts not travelling to Austria to compete next month due to Covid-19. They were due to play England in round one.
