Six places at the 2020/21 PDC World Championship will be available at the PDPA Tour Card holder which is set to take place on Monday in Coventry, it has been revealed.
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, certain qualifying events could not take place as expected which means four additional players will make it on Monday.
It will now also be two separate events with a UK Qualifier and a Rest of the World Qualifier. Four places will be on offer at the former, while the latter will take the rest.
The six losers from the final qualifying round will form a reserve list in Order of Merit order which will be added to the field in case of any Order of Merit or specific qualifying route withdrawals.
Further qualifiers have also been qualified from some of the remaining qualifying routes. Kim Viljanen who initially confirmed his spot will not be able to play due to health reasons with Marko Kantele taking his spot.
Lourence Ilagan won through the latest PDC Asian Tour qualifier on Saturday defeating Paolo Nebrida.
While Indian Number One, Amit Gilitwala will be their representative and Diogo Portela as the only active South American player in regular PDC action will take their spot.
