Jules van Dongen headed to Philadelphia for his first taste of full
CDC US Tour action in the second and final weekend of the season.
'The Dutch Dragon' soon made his presence felt producing a Quarter-Final and two runner-ups with an average over the weekend of 88.
The Dutch-American star has won the CDC Matchplay and been a star on the WDF circuit with a potential debut in the World Championship at Lakeside on the cards soon enough.
But on his first taste of CDC tour action, he lauded praise on the standard and the format in particular.
"I like the format, we just play singles, we have one event, you focus on that one event. It really helps, you play trips at 11, doubles at 1 and then you go singles at 4, it's hard so doing this, it's great. The level of play is tremendous over here," he said after his first final defeat.
"I think we're showing the rest of the world that darts in America is definitely a high level."
