Wales' duo of
Jonny Clayton and
Gerwyn Price led their country to victory for the first time in the
World Cup of Darts this past weekend and their dominance showed in the tournament averages.
They ended up finishing top with 98.16 overall over the course of 70 legs ahead of Australia who averaged 97.15 albeit with a lot less legs with 38 in all. This was ahead of another leading light this weekend in Canada who averaged 93.49.
The team that averaged the most but with the least legs are next with Republic of Ireland who went out in the first round playing seven legs and averaging 93.12.
England as finalists played one more leg than Wales and came in the top five with 92.66. Further down the Dutch duo of Danny Noppert and Michael van Gerwen prop up the top 10 with 89.43.
