𝘿𝙄𝙈𝙄 𝙒𝙄𝙉𝙎 Dimitri Van den Bergh whitewashes his good friend and stable-mate Jermaine Wattimena, averaging 97 and hitting four 180s along the way!
Jermaine Wattimena did not make it through on Sunday afternoon against Dimitri van den Bergh in the third round of the PDC World Darts Championship. The Machine Gun lost 4-0 in sets to the Belgian.
In the first leg it already went wrong for Wattimena. Scoring he played a good leg and the Dutchman was already on 87 after nine arrows. However, this went wrong and Wattimena came out with only 3.
That finish was not thrown out in two innings and the leg then went to Van den Bergh. Wattimena got visibly frustrated as a result.
"I just create opportunities myself, and if you don't take them ... That in that first leg is just stupid", Wattimena looked back on his match afterwards in front of the RTL 7 cameras.
But even after this first leg it didn't work out for Wattimena. "Throughout the game,. Dimi scored well, but I did it myself. You just screw yourself up. I don't want to say that I would have won it differently, but then I would have made it a bit more of a competition. I've been boosting myself throughout the game, even though I'm behind. But at a certain point it just didn't work anymore. ”
