Luke Littler is usually very active on social media and as a proud Manchester United, has also been known to get involved in football related debates.
So widely known is it that Littler is a big fan of Manchester United, that he has already been invited several times to Old Trafford and had the chance to play darts with the United squad.
Last weekend though, Manchester United were completely outplayed by Tottenham Hotspur, who left Old Trafford with the three points and a 3-0 win thanks to goals by Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke. Afterwards, the offixial social media pages of Spurs poked fun at Littler.
"Oops... You finally seen the light?" was the London club's public message, tagging Littler in an image of players Heung Min-Son and James Maddison mimicking a dart throwing action.
Luke Littler in action
Whether Littler can laugh at the tease remains to be seen, as "The Nuke" has not yet responded on social media.
By the way, Littler was in action yesterday at the 24th Players Championship of the year. The young Englishman, who already managed to win three Players Championships this year, went down 7-6 against Stephen Bunting in the semifinals.
Littler is already back in action today, as the 25th Players Championship of the year is scheduled in Wigan.
