POLL: Which player should get the 10th spot for the 2021 Premier League Darts?

The first nine players for the 2021 Premier League Darts were announced at the beginning of January. The tenth spot will be decided after The Masters at the end of January.
For now, Gerwyn Price, Michael van Gerwen, Peter Wright, Rob Cross, Nathan Aspinall, Gary Anderson, Dimitri van den Bergh, Glen Durrant and Jose de Sousa are certain of participating in the Premier League Darts.

There are quite a few contenders for tenth spot, most of them are competing during The Masters to put themselves in the spotlight. Only Dirk van Duijvenbode does not participate in that tournament. He must hope that the other contenders make a poor performance.
In addition to Van Duijvenbode, we also selected Simon Whitlock, Daryl Gurney, Mervyn King, Joe Cullen, Dave Chisnall, James Wade, Michael Smith and Stephen Bunting as contenders. Dartsnews is curious who our visitors prefer to see added to the line-up.

- I agree. There needs to be a points system and preferably just a rolling one year. World Championship should earn the most points though it can be argued that the current qualification system does see a fair few players qualify from regional country qualifiers who would struggle to hold down a place on the Pro Tour. If prize money won is going to remain as the determining factor for ranking then the World Championship should just consist of the 128 Tour Card Holders. Another option would be to take the World Championship out of the rankings and have it as the stand alone pinnacle that you qualify for by winning certain tournaments or your ranking position, sort of like a GSOD+.Mysstree05-04-2025
