The World Seniors Darts Tour (WSDT) will organise their own World Matchplay for seniors later this year which follows on from the inaugural World Championship next month and the World Seniors Masters in May.
Taking place at the Bonus Arena in Hull, it will host the tournament between July 2-3 with a field featuring Phil Taylor, Martin Adams, Peter Evison, Larry Butler and John Part. More names will be confirmed shortly.
The organisers are in current talks to get the tournament on TV with more information to follow as and when.
